Monday, 10/17 (A Language Arts)

  • Writers’ Workshop:
    • Finish giving/receiving feedback on your Readers’ Response Ro ugh Draft (RRRD).
    • Use said feedback to improve/revise your RRRD.
    • Your Readers’ Response Second Draft (RRSD) is due by the end of class today!

Tuesday, 10/18 (B Social Studies)

  • Do Now! Make sure you read the board when you come into class and complete the Do Now assignment.

  • MN History: 
    • Launch our study of MN. Today you will spend some time with a partner looking at chapter 1 in the textbook Northern Lights. Your Do Now! activity will ask you to answer some questions in your social studies notebook, and then we will spend some time chatting about the study of MN.
    • You will next work on the Interpreting Sources assignment. This was sent to you in Google Classroom (Social Studies folder). You will have the opportunity to work on this alone or with a partner, and this is due by the end of class on Thursday, 9/20.

Wednesday, 10/19 (A Language)

  • Do Now!  Read the board and follow the “Do Now” prompt.
  • Writers’ Workshop:
    • If you are not done with your Readers’ Response Second Draft (RRSD), finish it (Was due last class period)
    • I commented on your RRSD; use my comments to improve your work, and when you are done revising your RRSD, copy and paste your work onto the Readers’ Response Final Draft (RRFD) sent to you in Language Arts Google Classroom.
    • Your Readers’ Response Final Draft (RRFD) is due by the end of class today!
